Door

He stands in silence
Drops of water
He fixes a dirty rag
A perfect square
The sound of nothing
Amplified

White noise
He tries to go back
But his head is a mess again
His thoughts scrambled
Swiveling his body
Back and forth

Behind a Cigarette
pondering
where it all started
Where did it stop
To him it already happened
He just doesn't know how

He wanders into another dimension
He got lost
Turn left on tulip
When you see the railroad
You know you passed it
Turning around

He sees a rabbit
A wolf eats it
He finds a home
Abandoned
This beautiful place
He's stranded

He sees a light
His legs are wobbly
Sweating
He cries of joy
Laughing
He can't believe it!

A spark
A fire
Lighting the forest
He runs
Away
Lost

He opens a door
There's nothing there
He steps in
His flashlight rips the darkness
No spiderwebs
No rats
